Climate Control Automation:

With the integration into the automation system, the oxygen carbon dioxide exchange and release required within the scope of greenhouse air conditioning options are carried out more smoothly. In accordance with the desired parameters, the ventilation desired by the greenhouse can be applied within different times during the day. Special fans are located under the greenhouse ventilation devices in order to ensure that the air concentration is equal at every point of the air concentration.

Depending on the characteristics and structures of the plants to be grown, these devices come into play and perform the best air circulation. This provides the right homogeneous distribution in the greenhouse, enabling the cultivation of quality and natural plants protecting human health. It also allows the plants to grow in full time before the season passes.

The basic principle of greenhouses is to keep the conditions of the environment in which the plants will grow completely under control and to obtain an independent growing environment as much as possible from external factors. Firstly, the greenhouse itself is involved in covering production. However, just covering it does not mean that the climate we want will be created inside. For example, on a sunny day, it can warm up more than desired, and it can cool down more than desired on open and windless nights. At least the following items can be considered for accurate climate control:

  • Keeping the interior volume of the greenhouse as large as possible, making the plants feel like “in the open area” will facilitate a healthy climate control. 
  • Accurate and automatic ventilation to balance rising temperatures. 
  • Correct heating to balance falling temperatures or rising humidity. 
  • Control of the automatic screening system for energy saving in cold weather. 
  • Automatic control of the shading screen to prevent the radiation level from reaching unwanted levels and preventing the greenhouse from overheating. 
  • We can count the sprinkler, fogging and cooling pad systems for cooling purposes. Their control should still be done automatically and should interact with other factors. 
  • By making CO2 dosing, the plants can be improved automatically by improving photosynthesis.
  • Bulk gases of the heating boilers can be used as well as pouring CO2 as the CO2 source. In this way, both free CO2 will be provided and the environmental CO2 cost of the enterprise will be less. 
  • The list of artificial lighting and assimilation systems, blackout curtains and other automated control elements is ongoing.
Irrigation and Fertilization Automation:

Greenhouses are controlled environments where vegetative production is carried out under optimized environmental conditions and adverse effects in the external environment are limited. Water, fertilizer, nutrients, light, temperature, humidity etc. needed by the plant. It can be given to the plant in a controlled manner and the plant production can be provided as desired.

General work of Greenhouse Food and Fertilization automation; Acid and fertilizer taken from the fertilizer tanks are sent to the mixer tank according to the need and the PH values it receives from the sensors on it until it reaches the appropriate limits and cuts this flow when it reaches the limit. In this system, instant and precise dosing is done. A homogeneous plant nutrient solution is obtained by providing a premix of water and fertilizer with the mixer tank. Irrigation and fertilizer amounts can be monitored.

Climate Control Automation is also carried out in greenhouses. Different pumps can be selected according to the required irrigation pressure and flow rates. Different irrigation times can be set for each irrigation group. Water and fertilizer counters have binding inlets. The amount of water and fertilizer used in irrigation can be monitored. It determines the amount and number of irrigation using the greenhouse drainage water control feature, and uses the data of drained water in irrigation. The most cost-generating item in greenhouses is heating. It is extremely important to install a suitable and economical heating system in the greenhouse. In addition, each plant has the lowest and highest temperature limit levels. In order to remain among these values, shading in winter and ventilation or cooling systems in summer should be done well. It is also necessary to calculate the humidity inside the greenhouse instantly and keep the humidity inside at the optimum level required by the plant, and surplus the need to be discharged through the ventilation system.

  • Precise and correct fertilizer addition to irrigation water with computer control; Necessary acid dosing is provided and pH balance is kept under control and at optimal values. 
  • In order to start irrigation, algorithms close to the expert's decision are used and correct production methods are applied (manual start, start with time interval, start according to drainage results, start according to radiation accumulation etc.). For this purpose, different programs are written every day, and by putting these into practice, healthier production is possible.
  • It is ensured that the valves are opened and closed automatically in the irrigation of the plants and the desired amount of irrigation water can be given automatically. 
  • According to the drainage results, the amount and fertilizer density (EC) values of the next irrigation water can be controlled automatically.
